The research team at the SPA Labs consists of collaborating scholars and scientists who contribute their expertise in the areas of speech science, historical and theoretical phonology, language development, second language acquisition and statistical modeling. The current research program provides a forum for exchange of interdisciplinary insights and inspiration in crossing traditional boundaries. Student researchers and research assistants at the SPA Labs are engaged in daily research activities, which provide them with opportunities to learn about human speech from a variety of perspectives.
